Kenya, the world’s biggest exporter of black tea, has lost a significant part of its tea production for this month due to severe frost in key growing areas, which could cut its foreign exchange earnings, a major industry group said on Thursday.

In this week alone …we are looking at about 20 million kg of green leaf we have lost, whose value is in the region of Sh1 billion ($11.4 million), said Alfred Njagi, general manager of operations at the Kenya Tea Development Agency, adding that this was the worst ever case of frost to hit the country.

Njagi said the frost damage is expected to extend into the future, following adverse effects of climate change.

Did you catch that? Now freezing temperatures are part of “climate change.”

But, but wait just a minute! Isn’t “Global Warming” melting “The Snows of Kilimanjaro?” Seriously, I have it on good faith from a Liberal I know … LoL

  2. Rosco says:

This type of lie – climate change causing cold weather – is why people have to start seriously challenging the alarmists.

CO2 can have only ONE effect and that is it absorbs radiation and INCREASES in temperature.

It may or may not cause “global warming” but that is the ONLY effect it CAN have – if there is no warming there is no manmade effect from CO2 and therefore no AGW caused climate change – simple as that – QED.

I’ll say it again – No warming – no manmade climate change !!

The CO2 will increase global temperatures is their theory after all – No warming – no manmade climate change.

or they could harvest it anyway, hell its pre freeze dried and easy to ferment I would think:-)

wonder when the last frost was?
and why the assumption immediately it wasn’t just a freak one of event?
ah yes cos when you wanna claim damages from 1st world climate funds..
or a warmist reporter with an agenda prompts it…

real hard to find previous mention of frosts except one in 1988.
    however
have LOOK at how many CLIMATE eco agreements theyve signed into…

I am thinking we might use the term “normal climate variability” amongst ourselves. We humans have not existed long enough to have developed a meaningful global temerature regression line and even if we had, past results do not predict the future. After the “big bang”, the universe as we know it has been cooling and we are headed on a one way trip to the next implosion and explosion. None of which is caused by our paltry, feeble little efforts.

  6. At some point, all their sick and delusional brainwashing talks about “climate change” must end! But a new Ice Age will not be enough, they will blame the Ice Age on global warming. But a powerful solar storm, magnetic reversal or maybe poleshift destroying the whole worlds electricity, TV, Radio and Internet might do the trick though. We would be cast back to the medieval times, but the climate nonsense will at least dissappear… maybe.

  7. David Gurney says:

Maybe Obama’s birth certificate will become illegible after icing up.
