Missoula sees record snowfall
Several feet expected in the mountains.
The National Weather Service office in Missoula, Montana, reports that 8.6″ of snow fell at Missoula International Airport on Wednesday, breaking the record of 6.4″ set 42 years ago in 1970.
Here are some of the snow totals being reported across western Montana by the National Weather Service.
- Lolo: 13.0″ (as of late Wednesday)
- Alberton: 11.0″ (as of late Wednesday)
- St. Regis 12.0″ (as of late Wednesday)
