In the equation above “CH2″ is all the various hydrocarbons or carbohydrates imaginable. Including the hydrocarbons that constitute life as we know it here on Earth.
Water reacting with Carbondioxide form oil and gas and coal in the ground. It is a chemical reaction the turnes all our ground water resources into coal and oil instead.
At the deepest depths of our oceans this reaction has been going on since the Earth began. There are vaste hydrocarbon deposits in the deeps of the oceans. This proces has been slowly reducing the amount of Carbondioxide in our atmosphere. This process will eventually result in life on this planet being nolonger able to survive. Plants cannot survive if levels of carbondioxide in our atmosphere get to be any lower than what they are already. Therefore instead of complaining about the release of carbondioxide we need to scale up the amouts of carbondioxide that we release. The more that we burn hydrocarbon resources then the more that we restore life on Earth to the level that it was originally.
Carbondioxide CO2 is invisible where as water H2O is visible. We all know how important water is, but few seem to be aware of hjow important carbondioxide is too. Both are required for the birth of and continuance of life.
The law that I live by and which is holding us all bonded is called PRAECEPTAE CAELENIUM ™. I did not read it in a book. You will not find it in any book. I can’t really answer that. Some of the articles about the Cassini mission call it oil. Some of them call it hydrocarbons. Some of them call it methane.

The equation should be, CO2 + H2O = H2CO3. This is carbonic acid! Carbonic acid is used in the making of soft drinks, inexpensive and artificially carbonated sparkling wines, and other bubbly drinks.
Theoretical calculations show that the presence of even a single molecule of water causes pure carbonic acid to revert to carbon dioxide and water. In the absence of water, the dissociation of gaseous carbonic acid is predicted to be very slow, with a half-life of 180,000 years!!
It has long been recognized that pure carbonic acid cannot be obtained at room temperatures (about 20 °C or about 70 °F). It can; however, be generated by exposing a frozen mixture of water and carbon dioxide to high-energy radiation, and then warming to remove the excess water. The carbonic acid that remained was characterized by infrared spectroscopy. Imagine an asteroid belt comes around every 11000 years that is filled with chunks of near pure carbonic acid (formed from long irradiated carbonated space water)? When these chunks enter the atmosphere and heat to a plasma state, they would disassociate into the CH2 and O3. O3 of course is Ozone – could this be why we have such vast amounts of ozone in our upper atmosphere? CH2 is not stable so would react with something fast! CH2 is know as methylene, which is a carbene. Methylene has a non-linear triplet ground state and is thus paramagnetic (becomes attracted in the presence of an external magnetic field). It is not stable in the gaseous state. It is considered to be a diradical meaning reactions that combine it with other things are very fast and exothermic (think of the upper atmosphere on fire with violent explosive reactions going on giving off massive amounts of heat). Alternatively (and likely more realistically as there is not that much matter in the atmosphere to support a significant amount of reactions), methylene tends to dimerize even at low concentrations into ethene.
Ethylene or (ethene) is a gaseous organic compound with the formula C2H4. It is the simplest alkene (its older name?: olefin from its oil-forming property!!). Because it contains a carbon-carbon double bond, ethylene is classified as an unsaturated hydrocarbon. Ethylene is widely used in industry and is also a PLANT HORMONE!! Like the other plant hormones, ethylene is considered to have pleiotropic effects. This essentially means that it is thought that at least some of the effects of the hormone are unrelated. (What is actually caused by the gas may depend on the tissue affected as well as environmental conditions). In the evolution of plants, ethylene would simply be a message that was coopted for unrelated uses by plants during different periods of the evolutionary development.
Pleiotropy occurs when one gene influences multiple phenotypic traits. Consequently, a mutation in a pleiotropic gene may have an effect on some or all traits simultaneously. This can become a problem when selection on one trait favors one specific version of the gene (allele), while the selection on the other trait favors another allele. Pleiotropy of genes impacts the evolutionary rate of genes. In other words, a massive increase in ethylene concentration in the atmosphere would lead to the sudden expression of random-like gene modalities(not necessarily random, but to an observer used to the normally slow rate of evolution, it appear as sudden unexpected weird mutations) in all plants!! Evolutionary Leaps would be occur, at least in the plants!
