A MAJOR WINTER STORM ACROSS SOUTHERN COLORADO WILL CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN TONIGHT… SOME LOCATIONS ALREADY REPORT HEAVY SNOW… AROUND ONE INCH PER HOUR… SNOWFALLRATES UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR EXPECTED TONIGHT…

THE STORM WILL BE SLOW MOVING…SO A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOW WILL OCCUR THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY WITH HEAVY SNOW AT TIMES TONIGHT AND FRIDAY.

OVER THE PLAINS OF NORTHEASTERN COLORADO THE SNOW WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG WINDS CREATING BLIZZARD CONDITIONS LATE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING…

    There is also another storm entering the Gulf of Alaska. There are Blizzard warnings out for Alaska and Yukon. . The YK forecast is calling for 35 to 50 cm of snow with 70 to 90 km/hr winds.
    I have noticed that when Japan gets snow, a few days later NA gets one.
