* TEMPERATURES…LOWS IN THE 20S…POSSIBLY IN THE UPPER TEENS IN THE COLDEST RURAL VALLEYS.

* TIMING…UNTIL ABOUT 9 AM.

* IMPACTS…SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO TENDER VEGETATION. IN MANY AREAS TENDER PLANTS AND CROPS COULD BE KILLED….ESPECIALLY WITH THE ADVANCED SEASON FROM THE RECORD WARM MARCH.

    There goes the spring planting. Is the sun goes without sun spots. This only going to get worse.
    The people who push global warming don’t seem to know a thing about the sun effects the earth. It is same with the rise in earthquakes and volcanic activity can be tied to the fact. That the solar system is moving towards the center of the galaxy. There is a Black Hole at the center. Could that have effect on our solar system. Which then could effect the weather.

    Looking at solar cycle 24 it has reached its turning point already and does not look good at all!
    We are definately entering a Dalton or Maunder minimum era. Hope not similar to the Maunder Minimum because this will be the turning point in food levels on our planet! The strange warm weather especially in Europe is also not abnormal because it was noted in the maunder minimum time, Britain experienced one of it warmest days up till now!

      You could be right. The end of cycle 23 is stretched and cycle 24 starts later. I guess in a year from now we will see if the adjustment by the NASA was correct.

    Iam not an AGWer,but a freeze warning in Ny is no big deal in late april”(BTW)el nino is on its way so watch the NASA temperature satllites skyrocket unless there is a cold atlantic that becomes the main player.Iam not a meteorologist or scientist so i have a question for who ever,what would it take for all the warm build up SSt’s to escape into the atmosphere,and can a atlantic cooling be a bigger player than el nino?

      I posted this in another area, but incase no one sees it decided to post here… I believe I read somewhere on this web-sight a few years ago that during the next iceage, those living in the southern US would not notice much of a difference in their weather. If I’m wrong someone please correct me. I’ve been looking forward to a little cool weather down here in the south, maybe like what we used to have during the 1970s. So I hope I’m wrong. I hope we see some sort of a change in our weather in the next few years, even down here in the south.

        Gulf lows in the winter time would most definitely have a whole heck of alot more cold air to tap into! So I would think that tenn,al,sc,nc,ga would have colder and snowier winters,but thats just my opinion,and iam not a meteorologist or a scientist!but i did stay at a holiday inn express last nite :) just a little humor! No I here ya Wayne iam from the south to,and I love the snow and cold,and I would love to know the answer to that question to.
