Are You Prepared?

I recommend this DVD

And in southeast Texas we are already celebrating the first 90 degree days of the season after the warmest April in 50 years… Had hail actually on my house three weeks ago, and thats a first!!! Gonna have to make sure the A/C is working well, it’s going to be a fire cracker of a summer again… Wish there was an ice age coming, it might actually cool us off a little…
Be careful what you wish for.
I’m with ya Dale. I posted this in another area, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to comment to your note. I used to think it was no big deal to hear of snow up north any time of the year. As a young man during the 60s and 70s, I saw snow all over the US during my travels. There was snow everywhere in Colorado in June of 67 and even in August of 1970. But when the family and I went to those same places, during the same time of year in 1989, all the snow was gone. And I was very disappointed because I’d promised the kids they’d see snow when we got there.
It’s a pretty cold storm (but a bit moisture starved). Looks like a dirty ridge will try to build in next. Maybe another front next week.
