Breaks old record set in 1961

Hey Robert,

The calendar says it is June 18, 2012, but our weather is more like late September early October. This morning it was 57 degrees outside at my house and Sunday June 17, 2012 it was 59 degrees. Supposed to have more record cold over the next few nights according to the NWS .

Robert, I am 47 years old and I can’t recall us ever having temps like this in June. Maybe upper 60′s after a severe thunderstorm but never nothing like this. As usual the media fails to report such events.

And what makes it even SO much cooler, is that there is this CONTINUAL strong wind which is COOL.

    Especially at the beach.

Previously if there was any wind, it would still be warm or hot.

It’s just lovely – but eery.

When the sun (and co2) is not even able to warm shallow seas like the Timor Sea, Arafura Sea, Java Sea, Gulf of Thailand etc we know that Global Warming is BS

Yes so far a cool and wet June here in SC also. Charleston so far -3.6 F below normal and rainfall now 240 % normal as of 18th. Some areas west of Asheville,NC had temps down to 43 F in early June -amazing ! How much have we heard about ANY of this in the radical leftist leaning media ??? Probably nothing !!

Didn’t the Japanese researchers say a couple of months ago. That the sun was headed for minimum number of sun spots. Less sun spots colder it gets.

Here in chattanooga tn so far in june we have not even reached 90f,and so far we have averaged 1.7 below ave on temps, and slightly above ave rainfall. The outlook for the next 7 days is for 90 to 95,and looking at the gfs as unreliable as it is that far out shows a late june early july cool down, but will see.

Yes David: I also find it interesting how the media seems to avoid certain weather events. For instance… Last night the wife and I were watching the reality show Deadliest Catch and several of the boat captains mentioned how they’d never seen the Bering Sea ice so extensive at that time of the year. Seems to me, we now have to watch reality shows inorder to get the real truth.
