“The Mt. Bachelor ski area closed for the season too early,” says reader Don Bishop. “According to the National Weather Service, snow is forecast through Saturday night.”

Tonight: New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Friday: New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

  2. Unless there’s a good base left from the season past, you can’t ski on 4 inches fresh.

  3. The way it looks they could or should be opened past the 4th of July. Mayne they are just tired right now.
