SNOW LEVELS IN THE MOUNTAINS WILL FALL TO AROUND 5000 FEET TUESDAY MORNING.
SHOWERS MAY GIVE BRIEF SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ABOVE ABOUT 6000 FEET ON TUESDAY.

June in BC will be close to 1.8C colder than the 1971-2000 average.
Even by normal Scottish standards, this one has been a lulu: the coolest, wettest and dullest since old Queen Vic died. A 100 ton freight train with 24 carriages was derailed by a landslip during a deluge. PNW trees do well here because our climate is so similar and they are really at home this ‘summer’!
East coast it’s here in Colorado today was the 8th record high in 12 days… Need some of that cool weather from the PNW..

I live near Seattle. Right now, in July, we have 58 and raining. June had more than tripple our average rain amount. Sheeeesh!
RE: The Heat Event in the Eastern US.
I worry that this will lull people into thinking that the Eastern (and other parts of the) US will experience a long hot summer. After the block breaks down and the Jet Stream is unleashed, millions of people could be in for a rude awakening. Based on most models the block will break shortly. Maybe even prior to the end of the week.

Meanwhile, back in the real world. The Pacific Northwest is experiencing record lows and a very chilly summer. Early last week, record low temperatures were reported in many areas of the country, but went unreported in the mainstream media. I wonder why? Could it be that such weather news did not reinforce the global warming scare story?
