WINTER STORM WARNING … WIDESPREAD SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRONT BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL BE HEAVY  AT TIMES. SNOW WILL DIMINISH TUESDAY MORNING.

NORTHERN ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRONT-SOUTHERN ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRONT- INCLUDING … BROWNING… MARIAS PASS… CHOTEAU

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES LIKELY WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF 16 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS.

    We have already had 6″ of snow for the month and are expecting more by Halloween. We are above our precip for the month and well below our normal average temps…looking forward to winter!

    BTW I live in Great Falls, MT which is in the North Central Plains. Absolutely gorgeous rolling hills surrounded on 3 sides by mountains.
