Heavy snow and strong winds hit France
Up to 50,000 households without electricity.
A cold front has brought disruption to parts of France, with heavy snow in the east and strong winds in the south, prompting authorities to issue an “Orange” warning.
In the eastern region of Isere, local residents woke up to heavy snow and power cuts.
Local media reports say up to 50,000 households were deprived of electricity on Sunday morning.
Two people were reported missing on the French Riviera, after the worst storms in a decade hit the coast.

Some people might think: This is just weather, an incidental local cold snap. But big parts of Europe are already experiencing (heavy) snowfall while november hasn’t even started yet. Winter is early in France, Germany, Russia, Sweden and it looks like it isn’t going away.

Here a video about winter before its time in France. October snowfall was up to 50 cm at some places.
