.UPDATE…

WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE NORTHERN ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRONT AS A RESULT OF HEAVY SNOWFALL REPORTED BY OBSERVERS AND AUTOMATED SYSTEMS. LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE FOR A WHILE AND MAY ADD TO CURRENT ACCUMULATIONS UNTIL TEMPERATURES WARM UP LATER THIS MORNING.

So much for children not knowing what snow will look like.

    Why are they referring to these systems as; “Early winter storms?” They should instead be referring to them as; “Early Fall snowtorms,” or as; “Significant early Fall snow events.” Winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21 and THAT is still a looong way off.
