Local farmers and some 300 workers rushed to repair almost 400 vegetable greenhouses, covering an estimated area of about 23.5 hectares, which were damaged by the worst snowstorms in 50 years.

Workers clear snow at a vegetable cooperative in Hegang, China’s Northeast Heilongjiang province on Nov 15, 2012.

It is reported 4 greenhouses were damaged beyond repair at one site. Local authorities said they hired about 300 workers to help clean the snow and do their best to repair the damaged greenhouse. [Photo/Xinhua]

A good reminder to make sure you have some food stashed away.

And a good reminder that we’ll be fighting in the streets for food long before we’re covered by ice.

“There’s lot of talking about the greenhouse effect,” says Argiris. “Here we can see how the real greenhouses are affected.”

    Argiris comment is perfect. :-)

However, those that have lied about and profited from the man-made global warming scam for years will be safe, warm, cozy and well-fed as chaos ensues in the streets. But we’re just peasants, and they are royalty, right?

According to a report by the World Bank in the ‘Sydney Morning Herald’, the Earth could warm by 4C as early as 2060. The fact that there has been no warming in the past 16 hasn’t impressed their climate ‘experts.’

This proves that they are fools and don’t know to add “2 + 2″ to reach the obvious conclusion that the facts, the present trend is showing.
The climate is cooling, has been for a few years now, and the process is accelerating because it’s starting to be manifested in both hemispheres at the same time.
But we cannot talk to fools, can we?
      It’s a waste of time.
For those who still believe that CO2 has anything to do with our present climate, please read the following interesting explanation against this false concept by “Weather”

Call in Al “the climate” Gore to blow some hot air, help clear out this massive amount of snow!
    See you at Camp FEMA!!

As for whether the “weather,” er, climate people that are shilling for the one world government will be warm and cozy when the real truth about climate hits home and hard, I am not so sure. You have to remember the troops in the trenches, and here I am referring to the Psuedo scientists that are pushing AGW, aren’t trustworthy to start with since they will sell their souls for a few silver pieces, so they may be out scrambling and fighting for scraps as well.

Of course, the real pukes, like “Big Al,” will be warm and comfortable, except for the walk from the car to the airport, when they decides to do another jetset tour of the good places. But maybe I should give him some credit and pretend he truly believes what he says, just needs to use tens of thousands of dollars of electricity to keep his research simulations running on his banks of computers. And since he is so dedicated to his research, I am sure that the need for a private jet is understandable as he has to hurry to and from his research to make these public service announcements that he makes.

Looks like China is going to need us more than we need them! We are the worlds food basket no matter how cold it gets… When our food basket goes empty then the world will know how valiable the good ole US was…Hopefully enough of the hard working liberty minded people will survive when the ice finally receeds…

After our recent 3+ feet of wet snow, most of the handful of “polytunnel” style greenhouses around here collapsed like these. Please, take it from me.. if you plan on putting up a greenhouse, choose an insulated glass-and-wood structure with VERY steep pitch.. and THIS is why! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=483671001655252&set=a.483669244988761.109093.100000370684406&type=3&theater BTW despite NO additional heat and an outdoors temp that has dropped to 24F already, I still have tomatoes ripening in my greenhouse. Oh, and the yield of toms from this greenhouse this year is around 350 lbs already.. and bear in mind that we’re in the mountains of central West Virginia :^)
