Deepest snow base of any ski area WORLDWIDE. Mt Baker, Washington.
Let’s just say . . . wow. 63 inches (5 feet) of snowfall since Sunday morning!
IT’S DEEP UP HERE!
In fact, we have a Deep Snow Advisory in effect as we currently has very deep and soft snow conditions off the groomed runs. Please avoid tree wells & vertical drops, ride with a partner and keep them in sight at ALL TIMES.
For more safety information go to: www.deepsnowsafety.org
The storms continue to stack up and head our way with another 4 or 5 new expected for Wednesday. We are keeping our eye on the system expected to move in Wednesday afternoon/night as it could bring us another HUGE dump of powder. Details are still unfolding.
Be advised that the recent snowfall has loaded the trees along the highway from Glacier on up to the ski area, please watch for possible fallen trees and drive with extra caution.
With the deepest snow base of any ski area WORLDWIDE it’s game on at Baker these days.
