And it looks like there’s a snowy weekend ahead.

This map from NOAA shows that 65 percent of the USA was covered by snow as of Thursday morning, December 27, 2012.

And it looks like there’s a snowy weekend ahead, with snow for New York City, Boston and Philadelphia.

Snow is expected to spread from parts of the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley on Friday to portions of the Northeast on Saturday.

“The most snow cover in 22 months,” says Poldar. “And we are only 6 days into winter!”

A few days ago the news was that around 70 percent of Mongolian territory was covered in snow.

People there are used to extreme bitter cold winters, still even the Mongolians are very worried about that much snow so early in the winter. May-be the US citizens have a reason to be worried, too.

65 percent looks like a safe number, for it may be closer to 70 percent. Of course, there is more snow on the way. But, like he said, “only 6 days into winter”.
I think the new name for “Climate Change” is: “Brrrrrrrrr”!

But don’t mention weather modification. Don’t mention Stratospherical Aerosol Geoengineering aka ‘chemtrails.’ Don’t mention HAARP and its ability to heat the atmosphere in precise places to change weather systems and patterns.

If you think weather modification sounds weird and crackpot, put ‘Operation Popeye’ into your favorite search engine. Operation Popeye was a cloud seeding/weather modification operation over the Ho Chi Minh trail in Vietnam(1968-72) that extend the monsoon season by a month which in turn slowed the VC’s ability to move weapons and men in the mud. This was was 45 years ago!! Controlling the weather is very 20th century at this point.
