Georgia closes mountain passes due to heavy snowfall

Motor traffic on 18-72 km of Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road closed due to heavy snowfall.  All vehicular movement prohibited on this section of the road.

Movement in the direction of Russia suspended. Snow removal is underway on the site.

Movement of trailer, semi-trailer vehicles and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is prohibited in this section of the road.
