Snow has been falling for more than 30 hours in most parts of Serbia,causing traffic and other problems, B92 reported.
The situation is the most difficult in Vojvodina and there is more than 8 inches (20 cm) of snow in Belgrade.
PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić has ordered that all necessary measures be taken.
Beograd put public company says that its teams are struggling to clear the streets in the capital as more than 8 inches (20 cm) of snow has fallen in the past 12 hours and the temperature is below freezing.

Political problems still exist in the balkans region. Harsh cold and heavy snows for a longer period can destabalize a region a bit more. When the prolonged global cooling sets in for good,it is said some countrys will be put through a survival test. History books state the red army was helped to victory by its countrys own vicious cold winters.
