I live in Fernley, Nevada, about 33 miles to the east of Reno. I’ve been here for 11 years, and the past 3 weeks have been the coldest I have even seen here. Not only are the low temperatures been way below average, but the daytime highs are incredibly cold too.
Doubtless it’ll be referred to as a “cold snap”
