Cold weather kills 29 in Mexico

“Cold snap” hits a number of Mexican states – results in 29 deaths.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Latin American country.

10 people died of hypothermia, while a majority of the victims – 17 people – died of carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of inferior heating, two more people were killed in fires when trying to warm their homes.

    1. When I went to high school (graduated in 1971) it was funny how our teachers used to dismiss anything that came out of the Soviet Union because you couldn’t believe a word they said.
