Record Snowfall in Northern Japan – Video
Five meters (16 feet) deep.
At one spot south of the city of Aomori the snow blanket is more than five meters (16ft) thick, the most ever recorded.

Good news! A publisher in Italy has now translated Not by Fire but by Ice into Italian.

my god, as usual they suggest its due to global warming. I notice comments aren’t allowed on the article, they know it’d just be ridicule.
Notice that in the BBC video report they had to throw in that it might be caused by global warming. If it was global warming, wouldn’t it be rain?
“… the most snow ever recorded … may be due to global warming…” for the lols. Still flogging the same dead horse.
Yes, it must be “Global Warming”; heavy on the sarcasm here. I just knew they would have to put that in the report. They sure wouldn’t want to imply that things might be headed in the opposite direction. Going to be interesting seeing if it all melts before next winter sets in. If they get a cool summer it could get difficult.
The journalist in the video report mentions that the massive amount of snow could be caused by AGW! LOL!
Doctor Teller was director emeritus of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where plans for nuclear, biological and directed energy weapons are crafted. In 1997, Teller publicly outlined his proposal to use aircraft to scatter in the stratosphere millions of tons of electrically-conductive metallic materials, ostensibly to reduce global warming.

had to laugh when the beeb boob stated it was warming what dun it:-)
I love the Beebs possible cause’s, either it is a “1 off” or its “global warming” which ever. You get double the average snowfall or half its global warming. Awesome!
Funny how they yet again sneak in Global Warming as a reason for it.
It’s nice to know that the BBC reporter is toeing the line on global warming. In the video he suggested that this massive amount of snow might have been caused by global warming. Huh?
Trust the BBC to attribute snowfall to global warming. Morons.
I really enjoy looking at snow depths like the one shown in Japan and I couldn’t resist laughing at the comment about global warming it seems they can attribute everything to it.
I found a site that will demonstrate just how ridiculous the global warming argument is and if you compare the decades from the 80′s through today and the fact that the cost of preventing Global Warming is in the Billions or higher. Well I’m an amateur and I can see the foolishness in that kind of expense hear is the site:

Sometimes you will get a black streak covering the picture but give it time and you will see the extent of the ice today vs the past 20+ years.
Great site.
Heavy snowfall caused a Japanese “bullet train” to slow down to 20 km per hour, and even then to stop.

The announcer on the video said that this could be due to global warming. INSANE! Only a total mental midget would even mention global warming. Say global warming to those residents in Japan and they will probably cut that person’s head off.
Billit train derailed, 8 deaths in Northern Japan: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/03/04/world/asia/japan-snow-deaths/
Even my wife, who is a bit “environmentally aware” had a giggle about the “global warming” reference! It would have hurt the reporter to say the neutral “climate change” – it is just too ingrained in this sort of person to think that anything different might be happening.
what an idiot – I had to cut that dumb part off when he was asking “why are they getting all this snow ?” I knew exactly what they would say after that – and I simply skipped forward by 10 seconds before he mentioned that “stupid” part.
I hope we know what those 2 retarded words are ! But those 2 words have been outlawed in my household since 1992.
So why all the record snowfall ?
Answer: The upcoming ice age is responsible for record snowfall worldwide.
Ken
There is no other logical cause but the coming ice age. It’s good science, as we see in the following thread:
http://westernusawx.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=33725&page=1
being vindicated by the facts.
Some facts that will probably come next are: the formation of another La Nina this year, the flip of the AMO to negative phase and the consolidation of the icecaps in both poles.
We’re very, very close to all these 3 things to happen.
Let’s continue to have a scientific and objective mind and observe the facts.
