Cool temperatures leave local pools empty. “The water is too chilly to swim.”

“July is over and to add to that- it was the coolest July on record. Even August is ushering in unseasonably cool.”

Death Valley was 89 deg yesterday. Last time DV recorded a high in the 80s in August was August 15 1984. Almost 30 years! #deathvalley #cawx

    Hello again Robert.

About the lack of summer in Portugal, what is the question in the current days?

    “Verão procura-se”

    http://expresso.sapo.pt/verao-procura-se=f884747

The good translation should be: Summer Wanted

Well, the so called experts say that the current temperatures in Portugal are “normal”. The normal people feel the lack of the Summer. Just a few days of “summer temperatures” and plenty of cold in the night.

    Cheers

This trucker has driven back and forth though that town many times over the last decade. Ice formation on the Wabash was pretty interesting at times this last winter. Biggest problem there now is construction along I-70.

So what would even be better, for a cold temperature record?…………. How about……Death Valley, yes, you read that right, Death Valley. A new low maximum temperature by……15 degrees.

I fully expect to see snow showers reported in late September… LOL… Stock up on potassium chloride now while you can still get it, salt will be useless with this coming Wnter’s cold.
